Anne Catherine | Artist | Photographer | Traveler

After completing her BFA, Anne moved to New York City where she opened her photography company. Six years later, Anne returned to school, obtained her masters in business, and worked several years outside of the art industry.Traditionally trained, Anne specializes in acrylic paintings, ink drawings, and film & digital photography.
In August 2021, Anne set out with her dog to travel the United State in her campervan with the goal to reconnect with the land and with herself, and to create artwork inspired by this journey. Alternating between abstract landscapes and traditional figures and portraiture, Anne creates vignettes that provide a glimpse into her experience. Her work explores concepts such as reciprocity, duality, human connection (or lack-there-of) with non-human beings, and dreamlike spaces not anchored in a specific place.
Anne is currently still traveling with her dog in her campervan collecting inspiration, healing her relationship with the land and self, and building out a new series of work.
